Psychosocial Recovery Support

We’re proud to introduce Psychosocial Recovery Support, one of the key services offered at UMA Support & Care,  designed for NDIS participants living with the impacts of mental health challenges. This new service focuses on walking alongside participants as they build structure, resilience, and connection in everyday life.
Whether someone is navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or complex emotional needs, our team provides consistent, goal-oriented support that nurtures independence and well-being.

We help participants:

  • Set and pursue meaningful goals

  • Build daily routines that support independence and wellbeing

  • Develop emotional resilience and confidence

  • Reconnect with community and mental health services

  • Create a recovery journey grounded in hope, not diagnosis.

Available to plan-managed and self-managed participants under

Psychosocial Recovery Coaching or relevant capacity-building funding.

At UMA Support & Care, our psychosocial support services are delivered by compassionate, trained support workers with Certificate III qualifications and real-world experience in mental health and disability care. While we are not registered as formal NDIS Recovery Coaches, our team provides goal-focused mentoring and emotional support aligned with Psychosocial Recovery Coaching principles — for participants with plan-managed and self-managed NDIS plans. Our approach focuses on building daily structure, life confidence, and connection to community supports, always tailored to the individual’s unique journey.
